About this role
The CDL Dump Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating company-owned dump trucks to transport and deliver materials to various job sites. This position requires maintaining a clean driving record, adhering to all DOT regulations, and ensuring the safe loading, transportation, and unloading of materials.
In addition to driving duties, the driver must be capable of operating heavy equipment, including backhoes and skid steers, to load materials as needed. The successful candidate will perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain equipment in good working condition, and assist with general job site activities when required.
Qualifications:
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Clean driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements
Experience operating dump trucks in construction or utility environments
Ability to operate backhoes, skid steers, and other construction equipment
Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical labor as needed
Essential Duties:
Safely operate company dump trucks to transport materials to and from job sites
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
Operate backhoes and skid steers to self-load materials when required
Maintain accurate vehicle and equipment records
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Assist with job site operations and cleanup as needed
