Florida Doctors Group is seeking a driven, strategic, and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead business development, provider growth, and marketing initiatives for our MSO and provider network.
This leadership role is responsible for developing and executing strategies that expand the Florida Doctors Group network, strengthen provider relationships, increase market visibility, and help participating practices achieve sustainable patient and business growth.
The ideal candidate is a confident leader who combines sales expertise, healthcare business development experience, and creative marketing capabilities. This individual must be comfortable building relationships, managing growth initiatives, working directly with providers, and holding the sales and marketing functions accountable for measurable results.
Responsibilities
- Lead the business development, sales, provider growth, and marketing strategy for Florida Doctors Group
- Identify, pursue, and secure opportunities to expand the MSO’s provider network and market presence
- Establish sales goals, growth targets, performance indicators, and accountability standards
- Manage the business development pipeline and oversee prospecting, outreach, presentations, follow-ups, and relationship development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, medical groups, healthcare organizations, health plans, and community partners
- Work directly with participating providers to develop practice growth, patient acquisition, and market visibility strategies
- Oversee marketing campaigns, promotional activities, community events, branding initiatives, and provider engagement efforts
- Provide providers with marketing guidance, sales support, and practical recommendations for growing their practices
- Evaluate provider needs and develop customized growth plans based on their location, patient population, specialty, and business objectives
- Represent Florida Doctors Group professionally during provider meetings, presentations, networking events, and community activities
- Identify new markets, provider prospects, strategic partnerships, and business development opportunities
- Collaborate with leadership and internal departments to ensure sales and marketing initiatives align with organizational goals
- Guide the development of marketing materials, presentations, campaigns, messaging, and provider-facing communications
- Monitor sales activity, marketing performance, provider engagement, and growth results
- Prepare and present regular reports regarding the sales pipeline, provider recruitment, marketing activity, performance, and growth opportunities
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and provider performance to guide business development decisions
- Support provider retention by maintaining strong relationships and addressing opportunities for additional growth
- Ensure sales and marketing activities are properly documented, tracked, and completed within established timelines
- Manage and support members of the sales, business development, or marketing team as assigned
- Provide coaching, direction, and performance feedback to ensure departmental goals are achieved
Requirements
- Previous management experience in sales, business development, marketing, healthcare growth, or a related field
- Proven ability to develop and execute sales and growth strategies
- Experience managing sales pipelines, performance goals, and business development activities
- Strong leadership, communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to confidently engage physicians, practice administrators, healthcare executives, and community partners
- Creative and strategic mindset with the ability to turn ideas into measurable initiatives
- Professional, confident, persuasive, and goal-oriented demeanor
- Strong organizational, analytical, and project-management skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working in the field, visiting provider offices, attending meetings, and representing the organization at events
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, social media platforms, and customer relationship management systems
- Ability to prepare sales reports, presentations, performance summaries, and growth projections
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with an MSO, IPA, healthcare organization, health plan, or medical practice network
- Knowledge of provider recruitment, provider relations, and medical practice growth
- Familiarity with Medicare Advantage, managed care, value-based care, or risk-based healthcare environments
- Experience developing healthcare marketing campaigns and patient acquisition strategies
- Existing relationships within the Florida healthcare or provider community
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, healthcare administration, communications, or a related field
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred
