Role Summary
The Guillotine Lead oversees precision cutting operations on guillotine machines, used primarily for thicker or lower-volume card runs requiring manual skill and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead operators in safe setup and blade alignment.
- Ensure correct cut sizes, angles, and tolerances.
- Monitor blade wear and schedule replacements.
- Maintain production logs and quality inspections.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 2–4 years cutting or bindery experience.
- Knowledge of guillotine safety and precision cutting methods.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Standing, lifting, and repetitive motion.
- Noise exposure and use of sharp tools.
