About this role
POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an accomplished Director of Program Management to own the end-to-end delivery of a strategically important new product being developed with one of our largest strategic clients and partners. This program is already in flight, with a committed Tier 1 benefit delivery in Q1 2027 — you will step in, take command of the plan, and drive it across the finish line.
You will be singularly accountable for the three legs of the delivery stool — budget, scope, and timeline — orchestrating workstreams that span backend technology, front-end technology (mobile and desktop), marketing, operations, member care, and concierge integration. You will work with our strategic partner daily and engage internal team leads as needed to ensure on-time, on-budget, in-scope delivery. This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to senior executive leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Own program delivery end to end: budget, scope, and timeline for a large, cross-functional new product launch, with a firm Tier 1 benefit delivery date of Q1 2027.
• Serve as the daily point of contact and delivery lead with our strategic partner, building a trusted, transparent working relationship.
• Coordinate and align workstreams across backend engineering, front-end engineering (mobile and desktop), marketing, operations, member care, and concierge to ensure a seamless, integrated member experience at launch.
• Assume ownership of an in-progress program: rapidly assess current state, validate plans and dependencies, and close gaps in the path to delivery.
• Build and maintain the integrated program plan, including milestones, dependencies, resource needs, and critical path; act as the single source of truth for program status, health, and risk.
• Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve risks, issues, and cross-team dependencies before they threaten scope, budget, or schedule.
• Manage program financials: track spend against budget, forecast accurately, and flag variances early with recommended corrective actions.
• Drive scope discipline — evaluate change requests, quantify trade-offs, and facilitate timely decisions with executive sponsors and the partner.
• Provide clear, concise reporting to the SVP of Engineering, the SVP of Strategy, and executive stakeholders, tailoring communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Establish and reinforce program governance, decision-making cadences, and delivery best practices across contributing teams.
• Ensure launch readiness across all operational touchpoints, including member care and concierge training, marketing go-to-market, and operational runbooks.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• 5+ years of program or project management experience delivering complex, cross-functional technology programs, with a demonstrated record of on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Clear career progression with steadily increasing scope and responsibility throughout your career.
• Proven experience managing all three delivery dimensions — budget, scope, and schedule — on programs involving multiple technical and non-technical workstreams.
• Experience managing external partner or client relationships at a senior level, ideally with daily-cadence collaboration on joint delivery.
• Strong technical fluency: able to understand backend and front-end (mobile and desktop) concepts, constraints, and dependencies well enough to anticipate delivery challenges and engage credibly with engineering leads.
• Experience coordinating go-to-market and operational readiness workstreams (marketing, operations, customer/member care) alongside technology delivery.
• Ability to influence without authority and build consensus across teams and stakeholders at all levels, up to and including the executive suite.
• Exceptional communication skills — written, verbal, and executive presentation — with the ability to serve as the single source of truth on program status and risk.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.
• Expertise in current program management methods and best practices (e.g., Agile, hybrid, and waterfall delivery models) and modern program management tooling.
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• PMP, PgMP, or SAFe certification.
• Experience in hospitality, luxury consumer brands, membership-based businesses, or consumer digital products.
• Experience delivering consumer-facing mobile and web products from mid-flight through launch.
• MBA or other advanced degree.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
• The Tier 1 benefit launches on time in Q1 2027, in scope and on budget.
• Our strategic partner views you as a trusted, indispensable delivery leader.
• Executive stakeholders always know program status, risks, and what decisions they need to make — with no surprises.
• Member care, concierge, marketing, and operations are fully ready at launch, delivering the seamless experience our members expect.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary of $150,000 – $160,000, commensurate with experience, plus an annual bonus opportunity of up to 20% of base salary. The Exclusive Collective offers a comprehensive benefits package
