Job Description
- Assist the Technical Writing staff with completion of final reports by one or all of the following means: organize and page stamp raw data, enter data for sponsor information in appropriate formats, scan data/documents as needed, photocopy reports for archives, and mail final reports to Sponsor in compliance with applicable PSL SOP's, and compatible computer equipment.
- Interact with sponsors regarding report status inquiries.
- Other duties as assigned by the Technical Writing Supervisor or appropriate personnel.
Qualifications
- The individual assigned to this position must be of the highest integrity and should have a previous work history that incorporates a variety of disciplines applicable to this job.
- Candidate must be proficient with MS Office (e.g., MS Word and word processing, MS Excel, etc.) or other appropriate computer software.
- The assigned individual must be an excellent communicator (written and verbal) so that instructions from senior personnel and sponsors are followed carefully and thoroughly.
- An Assistant Technical Writer must be able to evaluate and organize raw data for the generation of reports or archival. In addition, s/he must be well organized, tactful, and be able to organize his/her work schedule to ensure tasks are completed on time and in flawless condition.
- Previous experience with interacting with clients through written communication
Additional Information
Position is full-time, Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Dayton, NJ are encouraged to apply.
Pay range is $22/h - $23/h depending on experience.
