mid-large buyout strategy, investing in market-leading companies across Europe
and North America. The Capital strategy focuses on typical equity tickets of
around €200–350m in three high-growth sectors where Eurazeo has deep expertise:
technology-enabled business services, healthcare & life sciences, and
financial services. These sectors are at the heart of major economic and
societal transitions and offer long-term opportunities for sustainable value
creation.
You will be part of the investment
team of Eurazeo Capital, composed of around 30 investment professionals based
in London, Paris and New York, working from the London office.
Responsibilities
Working alongside the investment team,
you will contribute across the full investment cycle: helping to screen new
opportunities, supporting live transactions from initial analysis through due
diligence, and monitoring the performance of existing portfolio companies. You
will work directly with the various deal teams throughout, and see first-hand
how investment decisions are taken. Primary responsibilities will include:
- Screening of investment opportunities: Assess commercial rationale and financial profile, conduct market research, participate in meetings with advisers and expert calls with industry professionals to help evaluate investment opportunities
- Deal execution: Provide support to the deal team during live deals, coordinate with advisers and consultants, and assist in the drafting of internal deliverables such as Investment Committee memos
- Portfolio monitoring: Contribute to ongoing portfolio companies’ reporting, performance, and ad hoc analyses
- Financial modelling: Contribute to building financial models, including operating models, LBOs, and other ad hoc analyses, working closely with the investment team
Required profile
Eurazeo seeks to hire individuals who
are highly motivated, have strong analytical and quantitative skills, and have
demonstrated excellence in prior relevant experiences. In particular, the
successful candidate should have:
- Solid academic background: pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top-ranking university
- Previous experience in finance (e.g. M&A, PE, transaction services) or strategy consulting
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Self-starter and independent thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Keen interest in investing
- Demonstrated knowledge of corporate finance & accounting fundamentals
- Fluent in English
- Right to work in the UK is required for this position (visa is not sponsored)
