Responsibilities
- Ensures aircraft are maintained according to type design and all maintenance actions are in accordance with Company policies and Federal Air Regulations, Manage resources and budgets to meet operational financial goals, and identifies and maintains training needs for personnel, providing appropriate training as required
- Ensures personnel are in compliance with Company policies, procedures, safety rules and government regulations
- Manager of Quality Control will prepare reports on department activities for upper management, recommends or initiates personnel actions, such as, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures that are in keeping with union labor agreement
- Manages Quality Control inspectors and designated inspectors at assigned base(s) to ensure they are trained, qualified and available to perform inspection duties, including Required Inspection Items (RII), Nondestructive Testing (NDT), borescope, and Receiving Acceptance
- Conducts surveillance of maintenance performance and associated documentation to ensure work is accomplished in accordance with regulatory requirements, manufacturers’ approved data and Company policies and procedures
- Conducts surveillance of technical data to ensure that data is current, available and utilized
- Conducts surveillance of facilities, including Stores, to ensure policies and procedures contained in the General Procedures Manual (GPM) are being followed
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and decision-making skills, are necessary as well as being able to effectively manage multiple priorities
- Ability to think strategically and adapt to the changing needs of the business are critical
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision and report to work on-time

Qualifications
Who are we looking for?
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18
- College degree or equivalent amount of work experience
- Have a valid A&P license
- Level III certified in Eddy Current Testing (NAS 410 or SNT-TC-1A)
- Engine borescope experience preferred.
- Have maintenance experience on aircraft with 18 or more passenger seats with an air carrier or certificated repair station.
- Ability to use Microsoft products Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
- Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
- Possess the legal right to work in the United States
- Have a valid US Passport, preferred
