Position Overview:
Endurion is hiring for an IT Systems Engineer to provide essential support for the monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of network performance across cloud and on-premises environments. The position is responsible for adjusting network constraints to ensure system reliability, collaborating with operations management and customers to implement technology solutions, and installing, configuring, and supporting various network systems. The individual will maintain documentation for system administration and user support, support the evaluation and integration of hardware and software, and ensure secure and efficient network operations.
Additional responsibilities include facilitating large data transfers to meet mission objectives, troubleshooting performance and security issues, and maintaining both cloud-based and physical IT infrastructure. The role requires the ability to analyze network logs, resolve technical problems, and support end users effectively in a mission‑focused environment.
The ability to obtain a U.S, Security clearance is required, along with experience in network monitoring, system configuration, documentation, and data transfer processes. Preferred qualifications include additional technical certifications and experience implementing technology approaches within operational environments.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitor and adjust network constraints to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with operations management and customers to implement specific technology approaches.
- Install, configure, and support various networks.
- Provide documentation for systems support and users.
- Support the evaluation, procurement, testing, and integration of hardware and software.
- Support and maintain cloud and on-premises IT infrastructure.
- Facilitate large file transfers of data to support mission objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or Information Technology-related discipline with 4years of specialized experience in related field; OR an associate’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or Information Technology-related discipline with 7 years of specialized experience in related field.
- Current Certification in one or more of the following (OR prior certification and 2 or more years of experience in relevant field conducted within 1 year of employment):
- CCNA
- CCNP
- CompTIA Network + or Security+
- CISSP
- NSX
- CASP
- 7 years of experience in design and maintenance/support of network and its users to include all servers, thick and thin clients, network storage devices, and hubs; network hardware support and security
- Ability to obtain a U.S, Security clearance.
- Experience with network monitoring and adjustment for optimal performance.
- Proficiency in installing, configuring, and supporting network systems.
- Ability to provide detailed documentation for systems and users.
- Experience in evaluating, procuring, testing, and integrating hardware and software.
- Ability to support and maintain both cloud and on-premises IT infrastructure.
- Experience with large file data transfers.
Preferred:
- Experience with specific technology approaches relevant to operations management.
- Additional certifications related to network and systems engineering.
