In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Manage and maintain building electrical systems, power supply infrastructure, and transformer substation operations in compliance with applicable regulations and safety standards.
  • Perform routine facility and electrical maintenance activities, including the replacement and repair of lighting fixtures, outlets, switches, and related equipment.
  • Coordinate with utility providers and regulatory representatives regarding contracts, inspections, reporting requirements, and service-related matters.
  • Support the management of gas, water supply, and wastewater services by working closely with service providers, contractors, and emergency response teams when needed.
  • Promote a safe workplace by supporting occupational health and safety programs, conducting safety briefings, and maintaining required documentation and records.
  • Coordinate the inspection, certification, and maintenance of fire protection equipment, including fire extinguishers.
  • Oversee servicing, refueling, testing, and preventive maintenance activities for backup power generation equipment.
  • Procure facility-related goods, materials, and supplies required for the smooth day-to-day operation of the office.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure efficient facility operations and continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance facility performance, reliability, safety, and employee experience.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Knowledge of facility operations, building maintenance, and utility systems.
  • Qualification to work with electrical systems, including the ability to maintain and support electrical infrastructure in accordance with local regulations.
  • Understanding of occupational health and safety requirements and safe work practices.
  • Ability to coordinate with external vendors, contractors, utility providers, and regulatory authorities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience maintaining facility records, logs, compliance documentation, and service schedules.
  • Proficiency in standard workplace software and digital tools used for documentation and communication.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Experience supporting office, commercial, or industrial facility operations.
  • Knowledge of electrical distribution systems, backup power generation equipment, and building infrastructure maintenance.
  • Familiarity with fire safety systems, emergency preparedness processes, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing supplier relationships and coordinating facility service contracts.
  • Technical or vocational education in electrical, facilities, engineering, or a related field.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on enhancing workplace safety, efficiency, and employee experience.
