Emerald Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Machine Operator I to join our growing Medford team! If you enjoy working with equipment, learning new skills, and being part of a team that takes pride in quality work, we’d love to hear from you.

As a Machine Operator I, you’ll operate a variety of manufacturing equipment under supervision, with a primary focus on our Selective Solder Machine. No prior experience with the equipment? No problem! Training will be provided to help you build the knowledge and confidence needed to succeed.

In this role, you’ll play an important part in keeping production moving efficiently while ensuring our products meet Emerald Technologies’ high standards for quality, safety, and reliability.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate assigned equipment efficiently and accurately.
  • Ensure production targets and schedules are met.
  • Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Promptly notify the Machine Group Leader of any quality issues or deviations.
  • Report equipment malfunctions or downtime to the Group Leader immediately.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following safety protocols and using appropriate protective equipment.
  • Support other team members and departments as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with component identification and IPC-A-610 standards.
  • Ability to follow detailed written instructions and work with hand tools.
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to operate various machines as directed by the supervisor.
