About this role
We are looking for a Founding Technical Recruiter with 3-7 years of experience to be the first fully dedicated technical recruiter at EliseAI, owning the full hiring lifecycle for engineering roles and helping build out our San Francisco engineering office. You'll work directly with our CTO and engineering leadership to hire world-class software engineers at a company that just raised a $250M Series E led by Andreessen Horowitz.
What will you be doing?
Heavily sourcing and building pipeline for backend, full-stack, and data engineering roles at high volume
Owning the full recruiting cycle from outreach through closing for technical hires
Partnering directly with the CTO and engineering leadership on hiring strategy and priorities
Establishing EliseAI's recruiting presence in San Francisco through local networking and community engagement
Operating independently as the sole recruiter in SF, managing candidate relationships and the closing process end-to-end
Key Requirements
3+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, primarily hiring software engineers
Experience at a high-growth startup (not just big tech) with meaningful hiring volume
Strong sourcing skills — must want to be hands-on generating pipeline daily
Ability to work independently without heavy oversight; comfortable being the only recruiter in the office
Willingness to work on-site 4-5 days per week in San Francisco (or NYC)
