POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
- Starting Rate: $25.20/ per hour
- Full-time position
- Monday-Thursday schedule

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Work from verbal instructions/blueprints/drawings and or work orders.
- Setup equipment/prepare surfaces to be welded/weld parts
- Must be able to use hand tools such as grinders, etc.
- Must be able to perform all functions of the basic and advanced welder classification.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITES:
May perform additional duties as assigned by the department supervisor.
- Keep work area clean, neat and orderly.
- Maintain inventory of parts used in area.
- Follow all safety rules, policies and procedures
- Train basic welders.
- Must report all accidents/injuries to department supervisor immediately.

WORKING CONDITION: General plant environment
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Must pass required ASME welding test in 6G position.
- Must be able to read blueprints and layouts part to prints.
- Must have basic math skills.
- Must have good hand/eye coordination.
- Work involves stooping and bending.
- Must have mig/tig experience.
- Must be able to demonstrate good welding ability with minimal training.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A high school diploma or GED is required
