About the Role
As a Residence Advisor, you will ensure that our international students enjoy a safe, welcoming, and high-quality living experience. You will play an integral role in their journey, helping them feel at home and supported while studying abroad.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily support and guidance to students living in residence.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and positive living environment.
- Handle student check-ins, intakes, and arrival procedures.
- Promote student well-being and engagement.
- Act as the first point of contact for student queries, concerns, and emergencies.
- Assist in organizing residence activities and fostering a sense of community.
- Collaborate with other staff to deliver a first-class student experience.
- Uphold EF standards and policies in residence management.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in hospitality and customer care. Previous experience with EF or as a Residence Advisor is considered a strong asset.
- Ability to take responsibility and act as a positive role model.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to work evenings, nights, and weekends as required.
- Strong administrative skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
