Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Early Lens Neurobehavioral Center (ELNC) 3-8p (25 hours/week part time)
Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Position: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Job Type: Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities

About ELNC

Early Lens Neurobehavioral Center is a family-centered behavioral health practice providing individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and adolescents. Our mission is simple: Early support. Equitable access. Lifelong impact.

We provide services across center-based, home, and community settings with an emphasis on functional communication, independence, meaningful behavior change, caregiver collaboration, and compassionate care.

Position Summary

ELNC is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Registered Behavior Technicians to join our growing clinical team. RBTs work directly with clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans and help clients develop meaningful skills across communication, socialization, play, adaptive functioning, and daily living.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with children, values clinical growth, and wants to be part of a collaborative ABA team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct 1:1 ABA services according to individualized treatment plans

  • Implement skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction programs with fidelity

  • Teach functional communication, social, play, adaptive, safety, and independence skills

  • Implement strategies including DTT, NET, FCT, differential reinforcement, prompting, and reinforcement systems as clinically directed

  • Collect accurate and timely behavioral and skill-acquisition data

  • Complete session documentation within required timelines

  • Implement behavior support and safety procedures as written

  • Assist clients with adaptive and daily living activities when clinically appropriate

  • Participate in BCBA supervision, clinical training, competency development, and team meetings

  • Communicate professionally with caregivers, supervisors, and team members

  • Maintain client dignity, confidentiality, professional boundaries, and ethical standards

  • Provide services across assigned center, home, or community environments as applicable

Qualifications

  • Active RBT certification in good standing preferred

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Previous ABA, behavioral health, childcare, special education, or developmental disability experience preferred

  • Ability to follow clinical protocols and respond effectively to feedback

  • Strong communication, professionalism, reliability, and documentation skills

  • Comfortable working with clients who may display challenging behavior

  • Ability to meet applicable physical and safety requirements of the position

  • Successful completion of required background checks and onboarding requirements

Why ELNC?

At ELNC, RBTs are part of the clinical team—not simply assigned to sessions. We prioritize accessible leadership, ongoing clinical training, meaningful supervision, professional development, and opportunities for team members to grow alongside the organization.

We value Clarity & Compassion, Accountability, Data-Driven Care, Equity, and Teamship in how we support our clients, families, and one another.

If you are passionate about helping children build communication, independence, and skills that meaningfully improve everyday life, we would love to hear from you.

Early Lens Neurobehavioral Center is an equal opportunity employer.
