JOB SUMMARY:

Provide strategic leadership and project management for Textron Aviation’s sustainability and ESG initiatives, aligning site level execution with Textron enterprise objectives, regulatory requirements, and aviation best practices. Lead cross-functional collaboration to define, implement, and continuously improve sustainability strategies that reduce environmental impact, manage environmental risk, enhance operational efficiency, and support long-term business viability. Champion initiatives that monitor and analyze energy, water, and waste usage trends to identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and consumption reduction.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Lead sustainability strategy aligned with Textron enterprise ESG goals, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.

·         Establish and manage sustainability metrics, dashboards, and ESG reporting processes, partnering with finance, legal, and compliance teams.

·         Represent Textron Aviation and collaborate with enterprise teams, utility providers, regulatory agencies, and industry groups to advance sustainability initiatives and share best practices.

·         Oversee utility systems (electric, gas, water) to ensure reliable, compliant, and cost-effective operation, including monitoring infrastructure condition and coordinating maintenance activities.

·         Partner with Facilities, Maintenance, and Engineering to integrate sustainability into infrastructure planning, capital projects, and long-term asset strategies.

·         Plan, lead, and execute sustainability and utility-related projects, including defining objectives, managing schedules and budgets, and communicating progress and risks to stakeholders.

·         Monitor, analyze, and optimize energy, water, and waste usage to identify cost-saving opportunities and reduce environmental impact.

·         Identify, evaluate, and implement sustainable utility solutions, including renewable energy and efficiency technologies.

·         Develop business cases and cost-benefit analyses for sustainability projects, incorporating incentives, rebates, and projected environmental impact.

·         Maintain knowledge of environmental regulations, incentive programs, and emerging technologies impacting sustainability and utility management.

·         Analyze performance and drive continuous improvement through benchmarking, root cause analysis, and implementation of best practices.

·         Educate and engage internal stakeholders to promote sustainable practices and improve organizational performance.



EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree required in Business Management, Construction Management, Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field

·         Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience required, preferably in the utility industry
