As a Security Officer, you'll play an important role in protecting our client's people, property, and operations while delivering outstanding customer service. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, is comfortable using technology, and takes pride in maintaining a safe and professional environment.
Schedule:
- 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Must be available to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Additional shifts may be available based on operational needs and employee availability.
Pay Rate:
$23.00 per hour
Are You Tech-Savvy?
This is more than a traditional security position. Our officers use technology every day to monitor activity, complete reports, communicate with team members, and support client operations.
If you're comfortable using computers, learning new systems, and working in a fast-paced environment, this could be a great fit for you.
Applicants must successfully pass a computer skills assessment as part of the hiring process.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and secure environment through visible presence and routine patrols
- Observe, report, and respond to hazards, incidents, and suspicious activity
- Follow DSI policies, client requirements, and post-specific instructions
- Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public
- Complete required reports and documentation accurately and timely
- Participate in training and comply with DSI safety procedures and manuals
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Reliable transportation and means of communication
- Intermediate to Advanced computer skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to conduct routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions
- Must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including computer skills assessment / exam
