D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Paid Search Manager. The right candidate will ensures search investment is tracked, reported, and optimized with precision and that the team and its agency partner are operating from accurate, timely data. This role oversees the reporting infrastructure, budget pacing dashboards, and the QA framework for campaign launches.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Own the performance reporting infrastructure for the paid search team, including dashboard design and maintenance Google Ads reporting and comparable business intelligence environments
  • Produce weekly and monthly performance reports for the Group Manager and VP, including spend, lead volume, CPL, and conversion trends
  • Build and maintain budget pacing models that track spend by market, platform, campaign type, and division against plan
  • Develop and maintain a campaign launch QA checklist in partnership with the agency, ensuring new community launches meet structural and tracking standards before going live
  • Monitor tag and tracking health across Google Tag Manager, GA4, and ad platform conversion tracking; escalate and coordinate resolution of tracking issues
  • Maintain the team's documentation library — campaign naming conventions, tagging standards, platform settings, and agency SOPs
  • Managing testing roadmap and analyzing effectiveness of testing to business objectives
  • Support leadership and our external agency in preparing materials for monthly and quarterly business reviews with the agency
  • Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company

     


Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or related field
  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience with a strong emphasis on analytics, reporting, or marketing operations
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Ads reporting, Google Analytics 4, and at least one BI/dashboard tool (Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI)
  • Advanced knowledge of paid search platforms, bidding strategies, keyword management, and campaign structure
  • Proficiency in data analysis to evaluate performance and optimize campaigns
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret campaign data and implement performance improvements
  • Experience managing large paid media budgets from an operations or finance-adjacent role including tracking pacing, reconciling spend, and working with billing processes

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; this role requires high accuracy under tight reporting timelines
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form or via DRH applications
  • Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision
  • The noise level is generally moderate
     

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Google Tag Manager and conversion tracking fundamentals
  • Experience working alongside a media agency is highly preferred
