About the Role
As Manager HSEQ, they will play a key role in driving quality, health, safety, environmental and compliance excellence across a network of automotive contract logistics sites in Germany.
This role acts as the regional lead for governance, audits, compliance, and continuous improvement, helping to ensure sites operate in line with customer requirements, regulatory standards, and DP World's HSEQ framework.
Working closely with site leadership teams and HSEQ professionals across the region, they will influence and support improvements in quality and safety performance while fostering a consistent approach across multiple locations. The role offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of stakeholders, contribute to strategic improvement initiatives, and make a visible impact across the automotive logistics business.
This is a highly collaborative role with extensive travel across Germany, supporting sites through audits, coaching, compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* This role requires regular travel (approximately 30-60%) across a network of sites located throughout Northern and Southern Germany. Candidates require to be based in these regions.
How You Will Contribute
- Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS) across multiple sites.
- Plan and conduct internal audits, support external certification audits, and ensure effective follow-up of corrective actions.
- Partner with site management and local HSEQ teams to strengthen quality and safety performance across the region.
- Drive compliance with customer requirements, legal regulations, industry standards, and DP World policies.
- Identify risks, improvement opportunities, and best practices that can be implemented across multiple sites.
- Support the integration and standardisation of processes, systems, and documentation throughout the automotive logistics network.
- Build strong relationships with site leadership teams, HSEQ professionals, certification bodies, and other key stakeholders.
- Use data, audit findings, and root cause analysis to drive sustainable improvements in operational performance.
- Act as a trusted advisor and change agent, supporting sites in adopting improvements and maintaining high standards in a dynamic environment.
What You Will Bring
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HSEQ, Quality, Health & Safety, or a related function within logistics, manufacturing, automotive, or a comparable operational environment.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems, with experience supporting audits and certification activities.
- Experience managing HSEQ programmes across multiple sites and influencing stakeholders within a matrix organisation.
- Proven experience conducting audits, implementing corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Fluent communication skills in both German and English.
- Ability to build credibility, navigate resistance, and effectively engage stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly across Germany (approximately 30-50%) to support sites and business priorities.
