Job Description

We are on the lookout for a  Lead Project Manager to join the Fintech team on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.

Be part of building the financial backbone of Delivery Hero. You’ll develop products that empower millions of customers and merchants, from seamless payments to innovative financial solutions like wallets and credit. Your work will support our path to profitability by creating financial flexibility for users and enabling smooth transactions across our markets.

As a Project Manager for Delivery Hero Fintech you will be responsible for leading and coordinating various technical initiatives to enhance our financial technology systems and capabilities. 

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers and data analysts, to deliver high-impact projects that drive growth and improve operational efficiency within the Fintech domain.   • Project Leadership: 

    • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex cross-team technical projects within the Fintech Department. 

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and timelines. Interface with engineering managers and engineers to estimate work efforts, define milestones and manage people/resource allocation

    • Monitor progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure projects are completed successfully.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

    • Foster effective communication and collaboration among different teams, including Engineering, Product, Compliance, and Operations. 

    • Build strong relationships to drive collective success and deliver integrated solutions.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: 

    • Leverage data and analytical insights to inform project decisions and measure project change success. 

    • Utilize relevant metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track project performance and make data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of proven experience in project management within the e-commerce, FinTech or similar industry.

  • Solid technical aptitude and an ability to understand technical designs, challenges, and risks. Engineers enjoy working closely with you.

  • Experienced in risk management for projects led and data-driven decision making.

  • Demonstrated success in leading and delivering complex technical projects on time and within budget.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills; the ability to translate data for different audiences.

  • Growth mindset with demonstrated commitment to learning & development of self and others.

Nice to have 

  • Project management certification (e.g. PMP) is a plus.
