About this role
- Design, configure, and deploy VMware virtualization solutions for clients.
- Manage and administer VMware vSphere infrastructure, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and virtual machines.
- Create and maintain virtual machine templates, snapshots, and clones.
- Monitor system performance and optimize configurations for efficient operation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VMware infrastructure and virtual machines.
- Implement and maintain VMware NSX for network virtualization.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and design customized VMware solutions.
- Create and update technical documentation, including installation guides and standard operating procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience as a VMware Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge and experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter Server.
- Experience with VMware NSX for network virtualization.
- Hands-on experience with virtual machine management, templates, and snapshots.
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions for VMware.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Relevant certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP) are preferred.
