This position does require working in all weather conditions.

Class C: $24.00 per hour
Class A: $27.00 per hour

Primary Responsibilities

Operates a powered industrial truck to move loaded and empty trailers to and from dock and yard as designated
Operates sit-down forklift within warehouse
Ability to follow safety rules of the yard including, dock locks, chocks, and speed
Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.
Able to operate safely in a heavy traffic area
Perform pre-trip report before operating vehicle
Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations. Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas.
Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped. Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.
Ensure inbounds and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.

Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars and trailers.
Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment. Use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, put away, and load functions are required.
Work Schedule- Monday- Friday 1:30 pm - 10:00pm & occasional Saturday’s

Preferred knowledge and Skills

Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained. Assist in physical inventories if necessary. Ensure proper stock rotation.
Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Comply with all OSHA Standards.

Qualifications

Duties & Requirements

Forklift certified
Ability to read, write and speak English.
Ability to perform basic math.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to work independently without constant supervision.
Must be able to work in extreme outside weather conditions.
Must have and maintain good driving record.
Must have great attention to detail.
Must be able to problem solve.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be open and able to work extended hours and weekends if needed.
Must complete a forklift training program and pass the required test
Must have 2-year spotter, yard jockey, or similar experience

Requires class A CDL

Must be able to lift/pull 50 pounds without restriction
Must be able to stand and walk for continuous periods of time
