What Value This Role Will Bring 
The Quality Inspector plays a critical role in keeping our manufacturing operations moving efficiently while ensuring the quality standards of tools used in mission-critical vehicles remain exceptionally high. Through first article, in-process, and final inspections, this position helps prevent defects, maintain compliance with customer requirements, and ensure only quality products move through production. By verifying piece parts, documenting inspection results, and supporting continuous quality processes, the Quality Inspector directly contributes to DMC's reputation for precision, reliability, and performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-5 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience performing visual and mechanical inspection of manufactured components
  • Proficient use of precision measuring equipment including micrometers and calipers
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry systems
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 45 pounds

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of Quality Management experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Expert knowledge of AS9100D and ISO 9001 quality standards
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience leading corrective actions, root cause analysis, quality systems, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, and applying quality control methodologies in a precision manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience processing First Article Inspections (FAIs)
  • Experience reviewing Certificates of Conformance
  • Experience within an ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 manufacturing environment

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour

Position Details

  • Orlando, FL; On-site attendance required
  • Second Shift – 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
  • $2.00/hour shift differential
  • PPE required in designated manufacturing areas
