Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Student Counsellor who has previously worked with a UK- or Australia-based education, study abroad, or student visa company/organization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience counselling prospective students, handling enquiries, managing applications, and coordinating with admissions and visa teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and understand their academic and career goals.
- Provide accurate guidance on courses, institutions, admissions, and visa processes.
- Manage student enquiries from initial consultation through application.
- Follow up with prospective students and maintain strong relationships.
- Coordinate with admissions and visa processing teams.
- Review student profiles and documentation.
- Maintain accurate records and update CRM systems.
- Meet counselling, conversion, and application targets.
- Handle student queries and provide timely solutions.
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach.
Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in student counselling or education/visa consultancy.
- Previous experience working for a UK-based or Australia-based education, study abroad, or student visa company is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong counselling, follow-up, and relationship-management abilities.
- Target-oriented and well organized.
Preferred Candidate
Candidates with direct experience working in an established UK or Australia-based education/study visa organization will be given preference.
