We are hiring a Product Engineer to support the launch and optimization of exciting new products.

In this role, you will work within a cross-functional development team supporting new product introductions for high-performance mixed-signal audio products. You will help analyze data, improve manufacturing performance, and support quality and reliability initiatives. This is an opportunity to build your engineering career while working with internal engineering teams and external product test suppliers to solve problems and improve processes.

No prior industry experience is required. Recent college graduates and candidates graduating soon are encouraged to apply.

 

\nResponsibilities
  • Support product launches and new product introduction activities for mixed-signal audio products.
  • Work with engineering and manufacturing teams to analyze yield, test-time, cost, and quality data.
  • Assist with NPI ramp plans, statistical analysis, and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the test team to support production test coverage and improve manufacturing efficiency.
  • Coordinate with design, test, validation, manufacturing, failure analysis, quality, and operations teams to support product milestones and resolve issues.
  • Help investigate customer samples and returns.
  • Support failure analysis, risk assessments, and corrective actions to improve product robustness and production readiness.
  • Contribute to yield enhancement and cost reduction projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or expected completion of the degree in the near term.
  • Coursework, academic projects, internship experience, or personal projects involving statistics, data analysis, programming, or scripting.
  • Basic understanding of hardware design and semiconductor manufacturing or reliability concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in learning how products are tested and manufactured.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to statistical analysis tools such as JMP, Spotfire, SAS, dataConductor, or similar tools through coursework, projects, or internships.
  • Exposure to scripting or programming languages such as Python, Visual Basic, or JSL.
  • Interest in using AI to improve engineering and manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor testing, manufacturing processes, or the Teradyne IG-XL tester platform.
