About this role

Position Summary

Join a team that keeps cutting‑edge manufacturing systems running at peak performance! In this role, you’ll take on a wide variety of challenging and rewarding tasks—installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining advanced production equipment. You’ll play a critical part in supporting the site’s mission by ensuring machines operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. While the primary focus is mechanical systems and components, you’ll also have opportunities to work across diverse plant control technologies, making every day different and exciting.

What You will Be Doing

In this dynamic position, you’ll work hands‑on with OEM machine controllers such as FANUC and Siemens, perform mechanical repairs and full rebuilds, and replace linear guides and ball screws to keep equipment running smoothly. You’ll collaborate on scheduling preventive maintenance while navigating reports, diagrams, and technical drawings with confidence. Your expertise with tool probing on CNC machines—and your ability to work with complex systems up to 5‑axis—will help ensure precision and reliability. You’ll level and align machines, identify and replace critical components, and diagnose issues across hydraulics, electrical systems, electronics, software, pneumatics, and mechanical assemblies. Every day may bring new challenges as you use manuals, vendor resources, and technical documents to solve problems, partner with external providers, respond rapidly to machine downtime, and drive continuous improvement in preventive maintenance practices. You may also support additional maintenance tasks such as HVAC systems, chilled water systems, pump replacements, and more—bringing your mechanical expertise to multiple areas across the plant.
