Your Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance Group Reporting Senior Consultant to join our Melbourne-based SAP Finance practice. In this role, you will work closely with clients, onshore consulting teams, and offshore delivery teams to deliver high-quality SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting solutions across complex transformation programs.
This is an exciting opportunity for a finance-focused SAP professional who is passionate about helping organisations modernise their financial consolidation and reporting capabilities while contributing to the growth of Capgemini's SAP Finance practice.
Key Responsibilites:
- Be part of an onshore team, collaborating with client stakeholders and offshore teams as part of SAP implementation programs.
- Guide clients through key design decisions within the Finance domain, with a particular focus on SAP Group Reporting and its integration with other functional and technical areas.
- Design, configure, and optimise SAP Group Reporting solutions aligned to SAP standard processes and industry best practices across both RISE with SAP and GROW with SAP environments.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors to support successful project delivery, discovery workshops, and ongoing solution support.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers during implementation and technical build phases, managing relationships and ensuring successful outcomes.
- Provide thought leadership on finance transformation, SAP Finance roadmaps, SAP Group Reporting innovations, and leading industry practices.
- Contribute to the growth of Capgemini's SAP Finance consulting capability through knowledge sharing, mentoring, and practice development initiatives.
Your Profile
- Minimum 5+ years of SAP Finance consulting experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting implementation experience.
- Proven experience delivering at least two SAP Group Reporting implementations.
- Strong understanding of SAP CDS Views and their role within SAP S/4HANA reporting and analytics.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to engage, influence, and build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all organisational levels.
- Experience working in complex project environments involving both onshore and offshore delivery teams.
- Experience in Selective Data Transition projects.
- Broader SAP Finance transformation experience across consolidation, planning, reporting, and financial close processes.
- Consulting experience within large enterprise transformation programs.
