Job Summary
The Project Specialist is responsible for supporting the execution of subsea equipment and services projects, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, contractual obligations, technical specifications, quality standards, and project schedules. This role acts as a key interface between engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, field operations, and customers to ensure successful project delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of subsea equipment and service projects from order intake through final delivery and project closeout.
- Monitor project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and budgets to ensure project objectives are achieved.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities among Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Field Service teams.
- Track project progress, identify risks and mitigation actions, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Assist in managing project documentation, technical submittals, change orders, customer communications, and contractual deliverables.
- Support preparation and maintenance of project plans, status reports, KPI dashboards, and financial forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, company policies, industry standards, and customer specifications.
- Participate in project review meetings with internal stakeholders and customers.
- Coordinate equipment readiness, testing activities, FAT/SIT planning, logistics, and offshore mobilization requirements.
- Support risk management processes, lessons learned initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.
- Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to monitor material availability and delivery performance.
- Assist Project Managers in managing project costs, invoicing milestones, and commercial performance.
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or related.
- Previous experience in project coordination, project management, operations, engineering, or supply chain within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Experience supporting offshore, subsea, or production equipment projects is highly preferred.
- Understanding of project management principles, scheduling, cost control, and risk management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP.
- Fluent English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural, and customer-focused environment.
