About this role

The Table Games Pit Floorperson oversees the operation of assigned table games to ensure accurate gameplay, regulatory compliance, and exceptional guest experience. This role is responsible for maintaining strict control of cards, chips, and equipment; monitoring play for irregularities, advantage play, or potential cheating; and ensuring that all game procedures are followed consistently and correctly. The Supervisor supports and guides dealers in delivering efficient, accurate, and professional game operations - including timely and correct payment of winning bets - while ensuring the safety and security of guests, team members, and table assets.

Responsibilities

  • Specifically supervise the operation of an assigned number of tables.
  • Ensure fills/credits are handled according to policy.
  • Promote positive guest relations.
  • Assist in answering questions or resolving disputes.
  • Exhibit knowledge of all appropriate state and company controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Encourage mutual respect, dignity, and integrity with Team Members by setting a positive example at all times.
  • Instill an atmosphere that encourages Team Members to share ideas, discuss concerns and resolve disputes.
  • Delivers and completes minimum required standards for all property initiatives Service Standards and Game Knowledge requirements.
  • Attend all mandatory meetings required by the company/department.
  • Understands and enforces all company policies and procedures.
  • Independently addresses other issues and concerns that arise.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must have dealer experience.
  • Must be able to obtain & maintain an active Illinois Gaming License.
  • High School graduate or equivalent required. College degree preferred. 
  • Knowledge of casino rules, regulations and procedures pertinent to table games operations is preferred. 
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. 
  • Must be willing to work any day of the week and any shift.  
  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. 
  • Ability to be physically mobile, and stand/walk for 8 to 12-hour shifts.
  • Excellent guest service and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work in areas containing dust, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibrations, crowds and air quality.
  • Must always present a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Always display a high level of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Capacity to work well with others and handle stressful situations with ease.
  • Possess effective learning skills.
  • Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period.
  • Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period.

Salary Range: $31 to $32 per hour
