About this role

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the maintenance and repair of table games equipment including but not limited to gaming tables, the installation of layouts and other table games equipment. 
  • Responsible for providing support to the facilities/EVS department and Casino Non-Gaming Operations. 
  • Performs a variety of administrative duties with respect to the Facilities/ EVS Department. 
  • In order to facilitate the best operations for the department, the EVS / Facilities Lead Shift Manager must be a strong relationship builder, high achiever, highly organized, and have excellent attention to detail and the willingness to go above and beyond. 
  • All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of Horseshoe Indianapolis policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards, Indiana Gaming and Horse Racing regulations.

Qualifications

  • Technical degree or certification in related field and five (5) years of building maintenance management experience is preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older
  • Must possess good interpersonal skills.
  • Be available to work various shifts, weekends and holidays.
  • Should have knowledge of troubleshooting all maintenance issues that should arise and be able to effectively direct shift staff accordingly. Proficient knowledge of mechanical and software programs. Hospitality related facility experience preferred.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, etc.) with data processing capabilities.
  • Experience in cleaning, janitorial or housekeeping preferred.
  • Candidate must have Floor Care Certification or equivalent Floor Care Technician experience.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and possess good interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to obtain an Indiana Gaming Commission (IGC) and an Indiana Horse Racing Commission (IHRC) License.
  • Responsible for fostering a fun environment.
  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
  • Physical requirements are frequent standing, walking, stooping, bending, reaching, climbing steps and sitting.

Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
