About this role

Job Summary 

To work on all aspects of removals, collections, deliveries and installations of personal effects, art and antiques under the management of immediate supervisor.  

 

Key Responsibilities 

• Collections and deliveries on a daily basis, driving locally and interstate as needed.


Knowledge, Skills and Experience 

  • High school diploma / GED required 
  • Three years of experience in the art handling industry; packing, handling and installing on a local and interstate basis 
  • Three years of logistical, warehousing and moving experience 
  • Understanding inventory processes and the ability to learn how to improve on handling art and antiquities from collection through to installation 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills 
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills 
  • Impeccable communication and multitasking skills 
  • Ability to accurately execute detailed paperwork and condition reporting 
  • Team player, able to work with all levels of staff in a dynamic environment 
  • Comfortable in a results-driven workplace 
  • Experience with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, jbars, dollies and other necessary logistics equipment 
  • Ability to safely lift 70 pounds and maneuver objects of substantial size and weight on a daily basis without damage to object or person, including the ability to push and pull 150 pounds on a dolly or cart 
  • Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, crouch, twist and reach overhead
