The Opportunity:
Join our team supporting USTRANSCOM's Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS), a mission-critical enterprise platform that modernizes transportation, logistics, and financial operations through SAP S/4HANA ERP integration. We're looking for an accomplished UAT Lead to plan, coordinate, and lead User Acceptance Testing for this large-scale SAP implementation. Your expertise in business-process validation, stakeholder coordination, test governance, and defect management will be essential to ensuring JTMS capabilities are ready for operational use. In this role, you'll partner with Government stakeholders, product owners, business users, developers, and test teams within a SAFe Agile environment.

Responsibilities:

  • UAT Planning and Leadership: Develop and maintain the UAT strategy, plan, schedule, scope, entry/exit criteria, roles, responsibilities, and readiness activities aligned with JTMS program increments and releases

  • Business Process Validation: Coordinate end-to-end acceptance scenarios that validate mission and business workflows across SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, Mendix applications, interfaces, and integrated systems

  • Stakeholder Coordination: Work with Government JPO test representatives, product owners, business process owners, subject matter experts, and representative end users to identify UAT participants, scenarios, data, and expected outcomes

  • Test Development and Readiness: Lead development and review of UAT scenarios, test cases, test data, traceability, environment readiness, user access, and execution instructions before each UAT event

  • UAT Execution: Facilitate UAT sessions, coordinate testers, monitor daily execution progress, resolve blockers, and ensure results and supporting evidence are captured consistently

  • Defect Management: Lead UAT defect triage, validate defect quality and severity, identify potential duplicates, coordinate retesting, and track issues through disposition and closure

  • Reporting and Metrics: Consolidate UAT results and provide status, pass/fail metrics, defect trends, risks, issues, and readiness recommendations to program leadership and Government stakeholders

  • Agile Participation: Participate in PI planning, iteration planning, system demonstrations, retrospectives, and other SAFe ceremonies to ensure UAT needs and dependencies are addressed early

  • Continuous Improvement: Conduct UAT retrospectives and implement improvements to processes, templates, tools, metrics, and stakeholder coordination

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance (required)

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)

  • Experience: Minimum 7 years in software testing, quality assurance, or business acceptance testing, including experience leading UAT for large-scale enterprise or ERP systems

  • UAT Leadership: Demonstrated experience planning and leading UAT events involving business users, product owners, subject matter experts, and technical teams

  • Agile Methodology: Strong working knowledge of SAFe Framework, SDLC, Agile development practices, and acceptance testing within iterative delivery

  • Core Competencies: Excellent facilitation, organization, analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and executive-level status reporting skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams

Desired:

  • Certifications: ISTQB, SAFe, or similar testing/Agile certification

  • Technical Skills: Experience with ServiceNow CWM (Collaborative Work Management) or comparable tools for test management, defect tracking, and reporting

  • SAP Experience: Experience with SAP Fiori, SAP Transportation Management (TM), or other S/4HANA business modules

  • Government Experience: Previous experience supporting federal agencies or Department of Defense clients
