Position Summary:

Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Account Development Representative (ADR) is responsible for assisting the Sales Channel by attracting and qualifying prospects that are evaluating and considering the purchase of Beanfield business products and services. In addition, the Account Development Representative will be responsible for managing inbound sales activities from new and existing Business customers. This inside sales role will focus on the development of the Sales Channel’s ability to generate leads, close small, medium and mid-market business sales and collaborate on various sales marketing campaigns. This position is based out of our Montreal location.

What you will be doing: 

  • Qualify all inbound inquiries to help generate new business opportunities.

  • Initiate, develop and manage outbound opportunity discovery calls and email campaigns.

  • Meet and exceed sales quotas and objectives.

  • Maintain a broad knowledge of competitive markets and sales techniques.

  • Coordinate with various groups within the company to meet sales targets.

  • Responsible for order fulfillment and administration of sales programs.

  • Contribute to a dynamic sales team environment, constantly driving continuous improvement in programs, practices and procedures.

  • Track activities and maintain relevant information in the CRM system.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bilingual, French and English is highly preferred.

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business or similar field.

  • 1-2 years experience in B2B sales within telecommunications is preferred.

  • Knowledge of VOIP, Internet is a definite asset.

  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Superior organizational and time management skills to multitask/prioritize and work under tight timelines.

  • Effective written, verbal, and listening skills.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work and act independently using good judgement when assessing difficult situations.

  • Strong negotiation and relationship building abilities.

  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and professional mannerisms.
