Bay Cove pursues this mission by providing individualized and compassionate services to people facing the challenges associated with developmental disabilities, mental illness, substance use disorders, and homelessness at more than 175 program sites throughout Greater Boston and Southeastern Massachusetts.

 

Requirements for the position

Professional Characteristics:

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a culturally diverse population of clients, other care providers, family, and community members. Ability to work collaboratively as a member of multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to be flexible, open and responsive to direction

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to go up and down stairs 

Other Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old. Minimum of one year previous work experience with infants and toddlers preferred.

Essential Functions of Position:

  • Lead developmental play groups as assigned
  • plan curriculum and activities
  • prepare materials for group, and assist with set up before group
  • assist with cleanup following group
  • Maintain arts / crafts supplies for groups
  • Prepare bleach/water solutions daily and place in kitchen, bathrooms and classrooms
  • Maintain classroom toys
  • Maintain first floor physical space
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Pay Rate:$22.44/Hour
