Be Part of the Founding Team

Opening in Fall 2026, Avivo Village Central Minnesota is bringing Avivo's innovative approach to ending homelessness to St. Cloud.

As a Custodian, you’ll help maintain a clean, healthy, and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors. You’ll be part of the custodial team responsible for the daily cleaning and upkeep of the building, grounds, and equipment while supporting safety and emergency procedures.

What You'll Do

Clean and maintain floors, windows, restrooms, showers, and other building areas
Replenish supplies and collect and remove trash
Operate and maintain custodial equipment, including vacuums and floor scrubbers
Maintain exterior areas, including sweeping, shoveling, sanding, and salting walkways
Respond to spills and other situations requiring immediate cleaning
Identify and report facility, safety, and security concerns
Assist with emergency and evacuation procedures
Follow organizational safety, security, confidentiality, and HIPAA requirements

QualificationsWhat You Bring

High school diploma or GED
Minimum of one year of custodial experience
Knowledge of cleaning materials, chemicals, equipment, and procedures
Familiarity with universal precautions and biohazard cleanup
Ability to follow safety and security procedures
Strong time management, communication, and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to frequently lift up to 40 pounds and perform the physical duties of the position
Ability to work occasional evenings and/or weekends as needed
