Senior Project Manager

Main Mission


Lead the end-to-end local delivery of a large, mission-critical sovereign government infrastructure program, acting as the main project interface for the Customer and working in close alignment with the overall program plan under the governance of the Program Director.

You will coordinate internal teams, Customer stakeholders, vendors and delivery partners across planning, execution, acceptance, go-live and handover, ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, budget and contractual commitments.

This is a highly client-facing leadership role within a strategic sovereign government project, requiring strong governance, stakeholder alignment, risk management, timely decision-making and customer satisfaction.

Technical exposure: Familiarity with HPC/AI, data centers, compute, storage, networking, power or cooling is an advantage; hands-on engineering expertise is not required.



Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the local project delivery plan, scope, schedule, budget, resources, milestones, actions, risks, issues and dependencies, in alignment with the overall program plan and under the governance of the Program Director.
  • Act as the primary Customer interface, managing communication, expectations, decisions and escalations in a sensitive sovereign government environment.
  • Lead Customer and internal governance meetings and drive agreed actions to closure.
  • Coordinate local Facilities, Modular Data Center, Engineering, HPC, Network, Storage, Software, Security, Procurement, Legal, Operations and Service Management stakeholders, as well as vendors, subcontractors and delivery partners.
  • Manage project reporting, RAID, critical path, scope changes and recovery actions.
  • Coordinate readiness, installation, testing, acceptance, go-live and transition to operational support.

 

Experience & Qualifications

Required:

  • 7–10+ years of Project Management experience, including complex customer projects
  • Proven delivery ownership, stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination
  • Fluent English and Romanian
  • PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification is highly desirable

 

Nice to have:

  • Experience in HPC/AI, data center or other large-scale infrastructure projects
  • General knowledge of compute, storage, networking, power or cooling
  • ITIL 4 or relevant infrastructure certification

Availability to travel:

Availability to travel up to 30% within Romania and across Europe, based on project needs.
