About this role

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead resolution of all guest concerns, including complex or sensitive issues (e.g., loss, theft, emergencies).
  • Ensure a seamless and high-quality guest experience throughout the stay.
  • Maintain guest satisfaction and loyalty through proactive engagement.
  • Participate in VIP interactions, guest events, and guest recognition programs.
  • Oversee daily operations of the Uniformed Services department (bell services, valet, luggage handling, etc.).
  • Coordinate staffing, workload distribution, and service delivery.
  • Conduct daily inspections of facilities (lobby, entrances, parking, service areas) for cleanliness and standards.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Train, supervise, coach, and discipline team members as needed.
  • Conduct regular staff briefings and divisional meetings.
  • Participate in hiring and onboarding of team members.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, and service excellence.
  • Work closely with Front Office and other departments to address operational needs.
  • Escalate major issues to senior leadership when required.
  • Maintain strong interdepartmental relationships to ensure service efficiency.
  • Monitor and manage budgets, payroll, and operational costs.
  • Prepare reports, including guest feedback logs and financial statements.
  • Analyze operational trends to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with reporting and documentation standards.
  • Support organizational goals, policies, and service standards.
  • Contribute to process improvements and innovation in service delivery.
  • Represent the organization professionally with stakeholders, vendors, and the public.
  • The Company operates a twenty-four (24) hour, seven (7) days a week business. Therefore, it may be necessary to change the accustomed shifts at times, as the business demands. 

     

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • Relevant experience:
    • 1 year as an Assistant Hotel Manager, or
    • 2 years in a supervisory role, or
    • 5 years in guest services (e.g., concierge, VIP services).
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office suite).
  • Excellent English communication (additional language is a plus).
  • CPR and AED certification required.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
