About this role
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect incoming shipments in line with company policies.
Neatly store stock in the designated storage areas promptly upon receipt.
Process stock requests from stores in line with company procedures.
Deliver stock to stores as per the delivery schedule and specific requirements.
Assist sales associates with lifting or moving stock when necessary.
Perform inventory checks as needed, in compliance with company procedures.
Accurately validate picked merchandise before store disbursement when needed.
Open and close the RDC when required by management, ensuring the regulatory procedure is consistently adhered to.
Accurately and promptly complete all paperwork, data entry, and related administrative tasks associated with the receipt and distribution of stock.
Always keep the back room clean and well-organized, with all stock, display fixtures, and equipment stored in their designated locations.
Restrict access to the back room to authorized personnel only.
Remain vigilant and aware of non-retail personnel present in restricted areas.
Follow all proper procedures in the event of emergencies such as fire, bomb threats, or other incidents.
Identify and address potential safety hazards (e.g., broken glass, wet floors) to ensure a safe working environment.
Report any discrepancies immediately to the Warehouse Manager and complete the appropriate documentation.
Report any suspected theft or security breaches to the Warehouse Manager without delay.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support daily operations.
The Company operates a twenty-four (24) hour, seven (7) days a week business. Therefore, it may be necessary to change the accustomed shifts at times, as the business demands.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent vocational training
Minimum 1 year warehouse/storeroom related experience preferred
Valid Driver’s license
