About this role
The Pool and Beach Service Manager leads the daily operations of The Cove pool and beach facilities, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, effective team performance, facility readiness, and compliance with resort standards. This role oversees guest access control, coordinates with supporting departments, resolves guest concerns, and maintains a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure daily line-ups are conducted.
- Collect wristbands from audit department as needed.
- Ensure that wristbands are kept to standard and always readily available to guest.
- Ensure that only guest that has privilege to the Cove is on property.
- Ensure the day-to-day smooth operation of the pool and beach facilities and team.
- Ensure that all employees report to work on time and as scheduled.
- Ensure that the pool and beach area is set to standard for opening and closing.
- Ensure that all surrounding areas are kept clean according to Cove Standards.
- Ensure that towel huts are kept clean and organized at all times.
- Ensure that all supporting departments are in place and standards are being followed accordingly, F&B, Public Areas, Sundry store, Landscaping.
- Ensure that all supplies are in stocked, and all equipment is in working-order.
- Ensure that all staff greet guest and assist guest with all their needs according to Cascade Standards.
- Ensure that all staff is in place at all times and keeping their assigned station clean on a regular basis.
- Ensure that F&B managers are ensuring that the staff is cleaning away food and beverage items as the guest are completed with dining.
- Ensure that all Concierge wrist bands are accounted for at the end of each shift.
- Performs reasonable additional duties necessary for smooth operation and as requested from time to time by Director or above.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent certificate required.
Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory or management experience in hotel, resort, recreation, pool, breach or guest services operations.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent guest service and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
