About this role
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Partners with division leaders, managers and colleagues regarding policies, practices and processes related to transactional Human Resources activities.
Assists with building a work environment that promotes learning and growth.
Identifies and selects top quality talent to the standards of a luxury environment. Screens and interviews applicants and select top candidates.
Anticipates, initiates, and responds to activities that may affect the business.
Maintains effective favorable relationships among managers by coaching and supporting managers to promote a good working environment. Promotes team building and makes oneself available to employees.
Creates a working environment free of discord and ensures open communication with all internal and external customers.
Assists with providing guidance and counselling to employees requiring assistance related to compensation and benefits, labour relations and all other disciplines of Human Resources.
Perform other reasonable duties required by management.
The Company operates a twenty-four (24) hour business. Therefore, you may be rostered to work shifts, which may change from time to time.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business or Human Resources.
A minimum of two years’ experience in Human Resources.
Knowledge of employment law and compliance regulations is preferred.
Ability to objectively coach employees and managers through complex, difficult and emotional issues.
Must possess strong analytical skills, organizational skills and manage projects effectively.
Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Office – Word, Power Point, Project, and Excel.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work in a fast-paced environment, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
