About this role

Main Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Answer and screen telephone calls professionally and courteously while adhering to departmental standards.
  • Greet and assist internal and external customers in person and by phone.
  • Log, track, prioritize, and follow up on employee inquiries and requests through to resolution.
  • Route requests to the appropriate HR personnel and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Respond to and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain Help Desk service levels, including call logging, resolution, and customer service standards.
  • Review and follow up on unresolved issues and requests.
  • Assist with the preparation of Help Desk reports and identify trends for management review.
  • Support HR projects, employee events, and departmental initiatives.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of company policies, procedures, and employee resources.
  • Ensure confidentiality of all employee and company information.
  • Assist other Human Resources functions as required.
  • The Company operates a twenty-four (24) hour business. Therefore, you may be rostered to work shifts, which may change from time to time.

 

Required Qualifications 

  • Highschool Diploma 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize competing requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other workplace technology systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Previous customer service, administrative, or Human Resources experience is preferred.
