About this role

Main Description 

As a part of the Reef HOA Hotel Operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and coordination of Front Desk, Bell Services, VIP Services, and Prompt Response functions to ensure seamless service delivery and operational excellence. This role supervises team members, coordinates guest service activities, and ensures the highest standards of hospitality are consistently maintained. The Cove Coordinator is committed to exceeding guest expectations, resolving service concerns promptly, and creating exceptional guest experiences.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and service recovery. 

  • Manage guest check-ins, room assignments, upgrades, and room changes. 

  • Handle guest concerns, complaints, and service requests promptly. 

  • Monitor room inventory, availability, and revenue opportunities. 

  • Maintain accurate guest accounts, billing, and service records. 

  • Coordinate VIP arrivals, special amenities, itineraries, and guest experiences. 

  • Conduct inspections of guest rooms, VIP accommodations, and service areas. 

  • Coordinate Bell Services operations, arrivals, departures, luggage handling, and transportation services. 

  • Support repeat guest programs and maintain guest history records. 

  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless operations. 

  • Assist with special events, reservations, and guest arrangements. 

  • The Company operates a twenty-four (24) hour business. Therefore, you may be rostered to work shifts, which may change from time to time.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • At a minimum must have completed High School with above average grades.
  • College degree preferred but not essential. If a college degree is not achieved the following qualification is essential.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer service-related field, preferably the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in the following computer applications:
  • Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint and Lodging Management System (LMS)

  • Proven ability to plan, organize and execute requests.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a self-motivated environment with little supervision.
  • Ability to manage the administration of multiple tasks at one time.
