Retail Sales Manager 

The Retail Sales Manager partners with the Store Manager to lead and develop the retail sales team while driving sales performance and delivering an exceptional guest experience. This role maintains a strong presence on the sales floor, coaches Retail Sales Associates (RSAs), supports daily store operations, and helps create a positive and accountable selling culture.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and coach Retail Sales Associates to meet and exceed sales goals and key performance metrics.
  • Maintain a visible presence on the sales floor and role model Ashley’s selling approach.
  • Coach sales techniques and performance and ensure required training is completed.
  • Support daily store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
  • Serve as Manager on Duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Monitor sales and operational performance and help identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Create a positive, engaging work environment and recognize strong performance.
  • Coach and develop employees through regular feedback, training, and individual conversations.
  • Assist with hiring, performance management, promotions, transfers, and other employment decisions.
  • Ensure company policies, procedures, timekeeping, attendance, and operational standards are followed.
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally while balancing guest satisfaction and business needs.

What You’ll Need: 

  • Associate degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 2 years of retail sales experience.
  • Supervisory or management experience.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Flexible availability, including extended hours when needed.
