Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
How you'll make an impact in this role
- Accelerate Patient Recovery: Deliver specialized, evidence-based wound care treatments and dressing changes that directly decrease patient healing time and prevent severe clinical complications.
- Optimize Clinic Efficiency: Manage patient intake, prepare sterile treatment rooms, and assist providers during advanced procedures to maximize daily clinic flow and reduce patient wait times.
- Prevent Hospital Readmissions: Provide critical education to patients and caregivers on home wound management, infection risks, and lifestyle adjustments to ensure long-term recovery outside the hospital.
- Enhance Continuity of Care: Monitor, document, and communicate precise changes in wound progression to the multidisciplinary medical team, ensuring immediate adjustments to treatment plans.
What minimum qualifications you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. OK or KS state licensure required relevant to where the employee works. Knowledge and skill in writing prescriptions for the Physician as needed.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
What additional requirements you'll need
- Two (2) or more years’ of experience as an LPN/LVN, to include one (1) or more years in a skilled nursing facility or Long-Term Acute Care setting Preferred
- Wound care experience preferred
