Join Apple's innovative team where you will contribute to the development and verification of cutting-edge wireless technologies. We are seeking a highly skilled Firmware Verification and Integration Engineer to play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of our 4G/5G firmware. You will be a key member of a cross-functional team, collaborating with component validation, integration, protocol test, firmware development, and system engineering teams.

Minimum Qualifications

Expertise in 4G/5G 3GPP physical layer and protocol stack procedures and configurations. Demonstrated experience in Modem system test plan and feature release planning for 4G/5G functional and performance scenarios. Strong understanding of 4G/5G signaling and physical layer test equipment, including their automation interfaces. Excellent analytical and debugging skills, with the ability to diagnose complex issues and collaborate effectively with development/design teams for resolution. Proficiency with source code control tools. Ability to quickly adapt and learn new architectures and frameworks. Familiarity with AI/ML tools and techniques for test optimization, data analysis, or complex system verification. Fluent English language skills are required for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s, Master’s degree, or higher degree in Electrical and/or Communication Engineering and/or Computer Science, or a related field, paired with several years of relevant industry work experience. Experience with network emulators, silicon prototyping, emulation systems, and virtual platforms would be a plus Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, C/C++, Java) is beneficial.
