We're seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team at the CoSTAR Program. In this role, you'll support adults with mental health and behavioral health needs as they work toward greater independence, recovery, and community integration.

About CoSTAR
The CoSTAR (Creating Opportunities Supporting Tenacious Adults in Recovery) Program provides residential and community-based supports for adults experiencing mental health and behavioral health challenges. Through person-centered, recovery-oriented services, CoSTAR helps individuals build life skills, strengthen community connections, and achieve greater independence in the least restrictive environment possible.

What You'll Do
As a Direct Support Professional, you will:
• Provide supervision and support based on individualized service plans
• Assist individuals in achieving goals outlined in person-centered support plans
• Support daily living activities including meal preparation, personal care, hygiene, and household responsibilities
• Administer medications and maintain accurate medication documentation
• Complete required documentation and service records in a timely manner
• Provide transportation to appointments, community activities, and essential services
• Support individuals in accessing medical care, benefits, social services, and community resources
• Encourage community participation and social engagement
• Coordinate with clinical and program staff to support recovery goals
• Promote a safe, supportive, and recovery-focused environment
• Complete additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
Required
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver's License
• Basic computer and internet literacy
• Ability to utilize email, electronic documentation systems, and timekeeping applications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to pass required background screenings
Preferred
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
• Previous experience in residential behavioral health or mental health services
• Experience working with individuals in recovery
• Knowledge of person-centered and recovery-oriented practices
Schedule
• Part-Time
• Flexible scheduling based on program needs
• Evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts may be available
• Schedule subject to change based on business needs
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb stairs
• Ability to transport and accompany individuals within the community
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
