What the day will look like

 

  • Lead project teams to deliver high-value strategy engagements for insurers, reinsurers and investors across a broad range of strategic topics.
  • Manage multiple workstreams and oversee project delivery to ensure high-quality outcomes, on-time execution and client satisfaction.
  • Structure complex client problems, develop hypotheses and guide teams in generating actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Lead market research, financial analysis and data-driven problem solving to address strategic challenges.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor throughout engagements.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior client audiences, facilitating discussions and managing stakeholder questions.
  • Coach, mentor and develop junior team members, supporting their professional growth and performance.
  • Contribute to practice development through recruitment, training, knowledge sharing and team initiatives.
  • Support the development of go-to-market propositions, thought leadership and consulting methodologies.
  • Lead and contribute to proposal development, client pitches and other business development activities.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture and actively contribute to the broader success of the Strategy Consulting team.

This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-growing, globally connected strategy team that is shaping the future of the (re)insurance industry. As a Manager within Aon's Strategy and Technology Group (STG), you will lead high-impact strategic engagements for some of the industry's most prominent insurers, reinsurers and investors.

Drawing upon Aon's unique data, insights and global expertise, you will help clients address their most critical business challenges while developing trusted relationships with senior stakeholders. You will play a key role in growing and developing our Strategy Consulting practice, contributing to team leadership, business development and capability building.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

 

  • At least 6 years experience within Strategy Consulting, Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy or a related advisory environment; insurance industry experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the insurance and/or reinsurance industry and key market trends.
  • Demonstrated experience leading consulting engagements and managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with experience structuring and solving complex, unstructured business challenges.
  • Experience managing client relationships and engaging effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, resource management and risk management.
  • Advanced experience handling large datasets, building quantitative analyses and producing high-quality client-ready outputs in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentation skills.
  • Commercial mindset with experience supporting business development, proposal writing and sales activities.
  • Intellectual curiosity, business insight and a commitment to continuous learning and development.
  • Entrepreneurial and willing to help build the India Strategy Consulting practice.
