About this role
ANYbotics is a fast-growing tech company dedicated to shaping the future of mobile robotics across multiple industries. Join our highly talented and motivated team of more than 200 people and work on cutting-edge robot technology.
The Opportunity
We build robots that inspect industrial plants completely autonomously. Internally, our operations are much less automated than our products, which is where this role comes in.
You will own internal productivity as a measurable outcome, not a theoretical initiative. Your job is to find where hours, cash, and margins leak, determine whether the fix requires automation, a system-of-record change, or deleting a redundant process, and execute the solution.
You will build solutions directly using n8n, Claude, or whatever tool the problem requires. You will also partner with designated process owners across Commercial, Product, Operations, Finance, and R&D to implement changes within their teams. Because you are shifting how 220 people work, the primary challenge is change management, not just technology.
This is a high-visibility, individual contributor role reporting directly to the executive team and board on productivity outcomes. You will work alongside strong peers in IT Infrastructure and Data without managing direct reports.
\nYour Impact-
Deliver Automations: Build and deploy automations with clear baseline metrics (hours saved, cycle times reduced, errors eliminated). Every project must show a clear, measured return.
-
Build an Operations Network: Identify and onboard key process owners across Commercial, Product, Operations, Finance, and R&D, establishing cross-functional delivery without direct authority.
-
Improve Data Quality at the Source: Resolve data issues where they originate alongside process owners, eliminating the need for downstream BI fixes.
-
ROI-Driven: You track exact costs before and after process changes. You focus on concrete operational outcomes rather than framework adoption.
-
Proven Change Management: You have successfully redesigned cross-functional processes despite organizational friction, with measurable results.
-
Hands-on Technical Capability: You have built and shipped automation or integration projects in the last 24 months. You are proficient with tools like n8n, Make, or Workato, standard ERP/CRM platforms, APIs, and AI integrations (knowing when to use AI and when deterministic systems are better).
-
Systems Architecture: You have successfully established system-of-record policies that teams actively use.
-
Influence Without Authority: You can drive organizational change through persuasion and execution rather than formal mandates.
-
Stakeholder Alignment: You can hold your ground and negotiate effectively with senior business and technical leaders.
-
Business Acumen: You understand how business operations directly impact revenue and prioritize accordingly.
-
Global Presence: Willingness to travel frequently to HQ to collaborate directly with teams on-site.
-
Technical or engineering degree, with comfort working around hardware development environments.
-
Background in manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial operations (including PLM, ERP, and SOP frameworks).
-
Experience scaling business processes in a high-growth company.
-
Familiarity with our stack: SAP, HubSpot, Wrike, Snowflake, Sigma, GitLab, HiBob, Notion.
-
Experience with installed-base, entitlement, or recurring-revenue models for hardware/software products.
-
Experience implementing internal AI training or adoption initiatives.
-
Broad operational ownership across a 220-person company.
-
A greenfield environment for workflows and automation, supported by established IT and Data infrastructure.
-
A senior individual contributor track with high autonomy and no headcount management burden.
-
Executive and board visibility on productivity outcomes in an AI-focused organization.
-
Complex operational challenges supporting physical robotics deployed in extreme environments.
We offer you a very exciting and dynamic work environment, the opportunity to become part of a fast-growing company and an ambitious team that is on a mission to change the industrial inspection market, a chance to leverage your experience and bring in your own ideas, a fair market salary, an attractive employee stock ownership plan, and a job in the city of Zurich.
Agency Policy: We are not currently partnering with external search firms or recruitment agencies. Any profiles or resumes submitted to ANYbotics employees without a prior written agreement will be considered public disclosure and the property of ANYbotics, involving no liability or fee for subsequent hiring.
