Job DetailsJob Location: Denton, TX - Denton, TX 76207Education Level: NoneTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: DayUnder general supervision, supports production and maintenance by maintaining an accurate material inventory in the computer system and on paper. Accurately maintain records of receipts, issues, transfers, and conduct cycle counts daily. Strict Inventory Control Procedures will be adhered to. This position involves the operation of electric and propane powered industrial vehicles (Tow Motors).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the receipt and inventory of incoming shipments, ensuring shipment is processed and placed in the appropriate bin. Ensure the appropriate transactions are entered into the computer system
  • Process materials to be shipped by reviewing open order reports, pick list or tags.
  • Pull the appropriate material and transfer to required location
  • Conduct cycle counts as necessary and manage inventory of assigned area
  • Load and unload trailers and flatbeds as required
  • Resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Perform as a Class A Driver
  • Has the Authority and Responsibility to report non-conforming product

QUALIFICATIONS

Mechanically adept
Attention to detail
Able to prioritize and work under schedule demands
Good communication skills
Computer literate
Able to read all precision measuring instruments
Ability to read and interpret specifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

A high school diploma or equivalent

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to write reports in the English language
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of supervisors and/or managers in the English language

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions and percentages
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variable in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

PPE REQUIREMENTS

Eye protection required in all areas of the production floor
Foot apparel must cover all portions of the foot
Safety shoes/boots with metal or composite toe protection are required within production areas
Hearing protection equipment required while on the production floors
Other PPE such as gloves are required based on the task at hand
