Staff / Senior Field Applications Engineer – ATE & Precision Signal Chain

Location: Shanghai

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive design-in and design-win activities for ADI precision signal chain solutions across ATE, instrumentation, and industrial test applications.
  • Provide technical support throughout the customer development cycle, including component selection, design review, circuit debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and training sessions to customers.
  • Develop deep understanding of semiconductor test equipment, precision instrumentation, and automated measurement system architectures.
  • Work closely with Sales, Product Lines, and engineering teams to identify opportunities and accelerate customer success.
  • Gather customer feedback and market insights for new product definition.
  • Continuously expand technical expertise and share knowledge across the FAE organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, Microelectronics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 5 years with a Master's degree.
  • Strong background in precision analog and signal chain technologies, including ADCs, DACs, amplifiers, voltage references, multiplexers/switches.
  • Experience in precision measurement, data acquisition, instrumentation, semiconductor test, or related applications.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor ATE systems, SMU/PMU architectures, electronic test equipment, or automated measurement platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and customer-facing skills.
  • Fluent in both Mandarin and English.
  • Willingness to travel within China.
