THE ROLE:
THE PERSON:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain C/C++ simulation models used for architecture evaluation, performance analysis, and hardware verification.
- Model hardware behavior to support the design and validation of next-generation GPU technologies.
- Debug complex software issues and investigate discrepancies between simulation models and hardware implementations.
- Collaborate with architecture, design, verification, firmware, emulation, validation, and software engineering teams.
- Analyze simulation results and provide feedback to improve product quality, functionality, and performance.
- Support the development and integration of new features within existing simulation environments.
- Contribute to large-scale software projects using modern development practices and version control systems.
- Participate in technical discussions and help drive solutions for complex engineering challenges.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Proven hands-on experience with object-oriented programming in C/C++.
- Strong software development, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Linux or UNIX environments.
- Good understanding of computer organization and computer architecture concepts.
- Familiarity with software development tools, debuggers, IDEs, and version control systems.
- Experience working with large-scale software codebases.
- Exposure to hardware modeling, simulation, verification, or performance analysis.
- Knowledge of GPU, graphics, CPU, or related hardware architectures is preferred.
- Exposure to firmware development or debugging is a plus.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python is beneficial.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
